Hello, Since Nov 2018 My Eye Swells. Happens Once A

Question: hello, since nov 2018 my eye swells. happens once a month usually happens 3-7 days after my period has finished then days prior to swelling this is what happens;
- severe excrutiating headache (migraine like, around sinus area) no pain killers help
- once headache subsides my cheek bone starts hurting starting from near the ear and makes its way down the bone of the cheek usually 2 days.
- i can feel something is there when i touch my cheek
- the following day my eye swells which lasts around 6days.
i have been to GP%E2%80%99s, i have seen an allergy specialist i am not allergic to anything, next week i am going to see a dermatologist but i feel like its not a skin condition. bloods normal, CT scan normal.
i have had antibiotics (amoxcylin) which helps, without antibiotics the swelling lasts for around 10-14days.
usually my left eye has been affected except for once in my right eye and currently my right cheek is painful to touch so i know i will probably wake up tomorrow with a swollen eye.
it doesnt itch, sometimes at night its red and it hurts really bad 8/10 so i have to put an ice pack to minimise the swelling and pain. during the day the pain is 2/10. would anyone know what it may be so i can go back to my GP and get appropriate treatment or testing.

Brief Answer:
Possible kidney problems, do ultrasound and urine analysis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

I see the photos you attached and it doesn't seem like a skin condition neither an eye problem or allergy.
I think it can most probably be related to kidney function, probably kidney infection such nephritis.
I can advise you to do an urine analysis, especially check protein in urine. and possibly an ultrasound.
Antibiotics and diuretics may be needed.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
Check protein levels in blood and urine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
I would suggest you to check protein levels in blood and protein in urine and also leukocytes and sedimentation.
You may not have hypertension or many other symptoms at the beginning.
If the protein levels are normal then it can be caused by autoimmune disorder.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Best regards.
