Question: hello. i was diagnosed with epididymitits previously, i tested negative for chlamydia, gonorrhea, and trich and i never had a UTI, I took ciproflaxin for 30 days and the infection didn%E2%80%99t clear
just recently (yesterday) i went to the ER for excruciating pain in my lower stomach and my back, the Doctor informed me that it%E2%80%99s inflammation of the vein and its from a STD.. So IM getting tested again.

Could the inflammation be due to my epididymitis? i am really confused on what to do or how to feel , is there a reason im testing negative for STDs?
im only sexually active with one person and this has been for 2 years

Brief Answer:
It could be epididymitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

It could be epididymitis. How was it diagnosed the first time, urethral swab, urine cultured, ultrasound? Your symptoms could be from a kidney stone which typically causes pain as you describe and leads to microscopic blood in your urine, detectable by dipstick.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

it was diagnosed by ultrasound. i went to the ER, they tested for kidney stones but there are none.
i was told i have an inflammed vein running from my stomach to my testicle. is the only way to get that through a STD?

Brief Answer:
No, could be nonspecific

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,

Do you have any symptoms, e.g. pain or fever? Any testicular swelling? If not, you do not need any treatment.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have further questions.
