Question: hello! I hope you're doing well.
so I wanted to discuss about my to gue issues. it's been feeling very tingly and has been burning/paining without any reason. I checked for ulcers and any other signs but there is nothing. what could be the reason for this? it's happening on the left side of my tongue and a little bit on the inner end of the tongue. since the tongue issue started which was 2-3 days ago. I've been having pimples on my face as well. which I usually don't have.

Brief Answer:
Seems glossitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The symptoms are very non-specific and could be due to problem in digestion, sore throat or vitamin B deficiency. It doesnot seem to be an infection but could be some allergy, maybe food allergy. Kindly remember if you ate something unusual lately.

Can try gargling with chlorhexidine mouthwash.
Take Tab Neurobion plus twice daily for as long as possible.

Kindly let me know if you have done any tests or any symptoms or past medical history. Have you taken any medicines?

Hope This helps.

Brief Answer:
Seems cancer sores, ENT visit needed

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

From your description it seems a canker sore. If its an ulcer, then visit an ENT specialist to confirm diagnosis and to find any cause of ulcer. Meanwhile do the gargling with warm water plus salt or mouthwash. It can help control local infection.
Also avoid taking fruit extracts. Extracts can irritate locally in the mouth. You can have the real fruits and herbs instead.
