Please, I am not a radiologist!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.

Unfortunately, I am not a radiologist and cannot read the images. I will recommend you upload the report to me for interpretation and guidance. I will review the report and not the images. As soon as the report gets here, I will get back to you with personalized and helpful responses and guidance.

Until then, I wish you well.

Brief Answer:
You most likely have cancer of the prostate!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

This is certainly no good news for you. Everything points to prostate cancer. Findings suggest this is evolving and may soon extend beyond the prostate. It is sufficiently concerning.

I don't see you physically and will not be definitive in whether you should take surgery or not. If your doctor and surgeon think you are strong enough to take surgery, I strongly support them because if nothing is done, this will extend beyond the prostate to bones. However, if it is still confined to the prostate, surgery would be a magical solution. Certainly, they need to do further testing to be sure there are no cancerous cells beyond the prostate gland.

In all, you have cancer of the prostate. If further testing shows that it is confined to the prostate and your doctors think you can safely undergo surgery, I will lend them my support. If surgery is not possible, medications exist to control the growth but will not offer a complete cure.

I hope this guides and helps. I wish you well. I understand this is certainly difficult and I can assure you am here to listen and guide you all the way. You will never walk alone on this path to cure as long as you choose to keep me in the loop. Until next, I wish yo the best!

NB: For future queries, use my direct page so that I can be notified immediately you post a question. Unfortunately, am no longer as frequent as I used to and only respond to

Brief Answer:
It depends on the stage/Grade and at what age it was diagnosed!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for following up with me.

The survival is dependent on many things. It depends on the age at diagnosis, the aggressive nature (grade) of the tumor as well as its stage (distance from origin). From the report, you might not be able to live up to 93 with this cancer if you were to received exclusively medical therapy. Proscar, while it helps for prostate cancer, is not the prime drug for this.

I will say if you are judged strong enough by the surgeons and your doctor to undergo surgery, if it is still appropriate for further evaluation, I will encourage you to accept it. Your tumor is seemingly quite aggressive and would eventually spread around unless something is done.

I hope this guides and helps. Am here to address any further concerns.
