E, Pls Note That My Niece Has Delivered A Baby

Question: e, pls note that my niece has delivered a baby recently and she was taking the following medicine during her pregnancy :

Loratadine 10 mg during pregnancy

The following medicine she used to take before her pregnancy:

Fexofenadine 180 mg
Valaciclovir 500 mg
Rhinolast 22 ml
Salamol
Since she is breast feeding now, is it OK if she starts taking all these medicines again included by the first one she was taking during pregnancy?

Hello... I understand your concern.
All these drugs get secreted in the breast milk and hence better be avoided during breastfeeding time of at least first six months, because this drug may make the baby drowsy.

Appreciate what you say doctor, but as per her doctor in London who prescribed the First medicine Loratadine he said can take it while breastfeeding but not the other medicines ط

I agree with the doctor there that it might not be causing drowsiness..but, the fact its that Loratadine is secreted - but the drowsiness may or may not pronounced.
I am not in a position to reassure you that that baby will not be drowsy because of this milk secretion, please.
