Brief Answer:
Dengue can pass into breast milk, avoid breast feeding for 2 weeks.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Thank you for writing in with your query.

I have gone through your query and the attached reports.

NS1 antigen is positive, but we need to confirm the diagnosis by doing IgM antibodies after 5 days.

There is evidence that suggests that Dengue virus can be transmitted to children through breast milk.

So, it is better to avoid breastfeeding your baby for 15 days.

In the meantime you can give diluted cow's milk and continue top feeds such as egg, mashed potatoes, fruits, vegetables as your baby is already 10 months old.

I hope this answers your question.

Hope you get well soon.

Best wishes.
