Non smoker non-alcoholic
I started with amtas AT which was changed to telma AM
Which was changed to Telma beta 40/25 which i m taking at the moment
Telma beta i m taking from last 4 months
Started taking first medicine for bp 4 yrs ago

As your age is 50 and you are on antihypertensive medications since last 4 years, it’s not advisable to stop. If you are observing that bp is staying within normal limits then that can be due to medication effect.

If you still want to proceed with stopping medications then you better consult your doctor personally and do that under his supervision and guidance.

I m not saying to stop....i wanted to ask ...can i try toreduce the dosage...with regular monitoring of bp....at present i m taking telmasartan 40mg+ 2g metropolol.
Can inreduce metropolol from 25 mg to 12.5 mg with regular monitoring of bp
Kso the dosage becomes. Telmasartan 40 mg+ metropolol 12.5mg
