Question: Yes I hope so - I am a 78 yr.old women with a history of resless legs for more than10 yrs,my lung doctor has had me on repenarol for many years , the last 6 or 7 years have been 2mg. then about we went to 2 at night about 1hr. before - now that is not holding even if I need a nap because of COPD and other things, so yesterday he said stop and start Gabapentin 100MG As you are going to bed, so tonight I did that at 8:30 PM. and it is after 10:0 and I am still twitching, tingleing,and kicking.HELP

Hi,

Gabapentin is not drug of choice for restless leg syndrome (RLS).
So I don't think this drug will help you.
Better to restart Ropinirole.
It is the only effective drug for RLS.
After reading your description, I think you are also suffering from depression or anxiety or other psychiatric illness.

So in my opinion you should definitely consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions.
You may need anxiolytic or anti depressant drugs.
These drugs also help in RLS indirectly.
If you have any relevant reports or images then you can attach them in reports section.
