Brief Answer:
a viral infection probably

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Symptoms involving many organs like in your case are usually related to viral infections. The diarrhea is the main symptom that has to be dealt with. If you're having too many bowel movements then your hydration status should be assessed. Checking your urine color is a practical way to go about it. Dense urine (dark yellow or even orange) usually means dehydration and more fluids have to be consumed. Clear urine (light yellow or watery) usually denotes adequate hydration.

Worrisome signs or symptoms include the following:
- Blood in the stool
- Too many bowel movements (more than 5-6 per day)
- Fever
- Abdominal pain that's not relieved after the bowel movement
- Severe headache

Regarding the sore glands and throat you can use paracetamol or ibuprofen (unless contraindicated - check with your doctor). Prefer paracetamol if it provides adequate relief, as ibuprofen may cause various problems with the stomach, kidneys, blood pressure, etc.

You should avoid milk, fiber and fat in your food until your intestines recover.

In any case, if the symptoms persist for more than a couple of days, then a stool culture has to be done and a doctor has to assess your condition in person.

I hope you find my comments helpful! Let me know if you need more help.
Regards
