Why Do I Get Middle Ear Infection With Clear And Pus Drainage In The Hottest Part Of Summer?
Question: In the hottest part of Summer in get this ear problem. It seams to be a middle ear infection , clear drainage then pus drainage, muffled hearing and this will continue for weeks.

If you notice pain and drainage from the ear, it indicated active infection and require treatment with Amoxicillin+clavulonate (antibiotic).
In order to prevent recurrent infections, the underlying allergies need to be treated. You can take Cetirizine 10 mg at bedtime and steam inhalation if you notice stuffy nose or a runny nose.
You can also use Xylometazoline nasal drops. But try limiting the decongestant drops for less than 7 days at a time only.
You can use saline nasal drops for prolonged periods.
