Brief Answer:
MRI is more sensitive...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your history and here is my advice.

Usually non-metallic foreign bodies may be well detected with Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI) technique.

MRI has higher sensitivity than computed tomography or ultrasound.

Usually diagnostic test/treatment is also depends upon the location of foreign body as if it is in abdomen than endoscopy or colonoscopy is the right choice.

Hope I have answered your query and let me know if I can assist you further.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

As per my knowledge, I don't think that any diagnostic test/technique can detect that much small size i.e 1 mm or less piece of plastic.

Please let me know do you have any symptoms or exposure history, so that I can get better idea.

Hope I have answered your query and let me know if I can assist you further.
