Brief Answer:
Oral antibiotics are effective

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Laryngitis is a bacterial infection of larynx in most cases.

This require oral antibiotics for an effective response.

I generally prescribe oral medication of Amoxyclav (Amoxicillin plus Clavulinic acid) to my patients with such symptoms.

This can be available as over the counter medication in selective pharmaceutical outlets.

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these medications to you.

Post your further questions if any.
