Brief Answer:

Urinary tract infection-fluids, cranberry products, antibiotics

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

It is possibly an urinary tract infection. Women are more likely than men to have urinary tract infections and it can sometimes be associated with sexual intercourse.

If urine is in the bladder at the onset of intercourse then it can possibly become infected.

Women who get frequent urinary tract infections are sometimes advised to empty their bladders before and/or after intercourse

It is NOT a sexually transmitted infection eg chlamydia, gonorrhea, etc, it is a urinary tract infection

Treatment involves-(1)copious fluids
(2)cranberry products
(3)antibiotics are needed, you would need to see your doctor for an assessment and prescription

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
