Brief Answer:
Depends upon age, weight and hieght and life style of the person

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic!

BMR varries from individual to individual and depends upon endocrine fucntions hornone levels and sympathetic stimulations in a person. If we keep these variable static and consider a little or no variation and talk about an average person, depends upon several factors which are considered in calculating the BMR.

Normally for average built and weight it is usually between 1000-1500. To gain weight a slightly more calorie count should be used per day. Of you want to lose weight keep calorie intake atleast 300-500 less then BMR. So there is nothing good or bad about it unless it is in normal physiological limits.

Wishing you good health. If you dont have any more questions, please close the discussion. You can also reach me directly through my profile in future, in case of any more questions, Regards.
