Hi,

Firstly, a good quality sunscreen with an SPF of at least 50 applied 20 minutes before sun exposure & application should be repeated every 3-4 hours from XXXXXXX till dusk.
Second, avoid aggravating factors like hot (temperature hot) beverages, spicy food, any specific aggravating food etc.
Third, one may apply 2% metronidazole gel in the evenings, upon a doctor's prescription or/& a cream containing 1% pimecrolimus in the evenings, to decrease the redness & visible veins.

Cheers & hope this is lucid & useful. Good Luck!
