Question: I have what appears to be athletes foot on my right foot only. It is rougher and scalier looking than the left one. What is the best treatment?

Hello,

One of the best topical remedies for athletes foot is a topical clotrimazole cream. This is a very good anti-fungal preparation. I would recommend that you consider applying this cream 2 to 3 times per day to your foot until the cream soaks in nicely prior to putting on any socks or shoes.

If the cream does not provide good relief you could try a topical powder such as nustatin as a second choice.
