What Does This MRI Report Indicate?
Question: Please suggest regarding nature of illness is acute or chronic.
A 35 yrs/male patient c/o Left Knee Anterior Cruciate Ligament Tear with Posterior Cruciate Ligament Tear. As per patient there is h/o fall on 30/03/2016. patient hospitalised from 31/03/2016 to 02/04/2016. (Patient underwent ACL reconstruction with MFC and LFC, with synovectomy and lavage.)
As per investigation report -
MRI - Left Knee Joint (dated 31/03/2016) finding suggest
- Complete tear involving femoral attachment of ACL with buckling of PCL.
-Mild laxity involving infra-patellar tendon with intrasubstance signal proximill, suggest of interstitial injury.
-Grade-I signal involving posterior horn of medial meniscus.
Please suggest regarding nature of illness is acute or chronic - as there are no any acute inflammatory changes in MRI findings. Kindly suggest.
