Brief Answer:
The day of conception is not counted.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
If your period started 6 weeks 5 days ago and you conceived on 1st or 2nd April even then the date of pregnancy will be counted from the first day of your periods. The gestational age and the ultrasound parameters will match with the first day of the periods. The date of conception does not matter as the ovulation date may vary. The delivery date is after 280 days counted from the first day of the last periods and not from the day of intercourse.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
Dr. Rakhi Tayal.
