I have a question. My mother who is 69 yrs old had some spotting, went into the doctor and had an ultra sound done. The results are - a mass the size of a pear on her ovary and her Endometrial stripe thickness is 25 mm. The endometrium is thickened, irregular and has cystic changes. The rt ovary is abnormal it has a large complex cystic mass. It demonstrates thick internal septations and solid mural nodules suspicious for cystadenoma or cystandenocarcinoma. We have her schedule for a total hysterectomy in 2 weeks ( is this too long to wait?). The doctor said that there is a 50/50 chance it could be cancer, and is leaning towards the cancer. what are your thoughts of her having Ovarian Cancer or it being benign? She is a non smoker - smoked for 20 yrs (in her younger years)... She is healthy otherwise.

I've been having symptoms of pain for 4 years. Last week I had an ultrasound and they found spots on my Pancreas. They've taken blood tests and one of the doctors said he doesn't think I have Pancreatitis, but they're waiting for results from other tests. I have been feeling very weak lately and have lost 12-15kg in 3 months without intending to. Please tell me if you have any clue to what's wrong?
