What Does The Following Blood Test Report Indicate?
Question: My daughter, as part of entering nursing school 2 years ago, was vaccinated against Hep B. Her Hep B Titer confirmed immunity at that time and there were no indications she ever had Hep B. A few weeks ago upon giving blood she received a letter that stated she was REACTIVE Anti-HBc (non-reactive for HBsAg and HBV NAT). How can this be the case if she was vaccinated two years ago?

If your daughter was vaccinated for hep B and had after this anti HBs positive (confirmed immunity for hep B) and anti HBc negative I think that she should retested again for anti-HBc because could happen to be a false positive result.
