Brief Answer:
Needs admission.

Detailed Answer:
Hi. Welcome to Healthcare Magic. I am Dr Anshul Varshney for your help.
Based on the history and the available reports, it seems that your father has developed Acute Gastroenteritis leading to dehydration and Acute Kidney Injury.
This doesn't look like a kidney infection.
Kidneys are affected secondary to loose motions causing dehydration.
Appropriate kidney safe antibiotics, Intravenous fluids and monitoring of urine output and Urea Creatinine is the mainstay of treatment.
The best way out would be admitting him under care of a MD Medicine Physician, who if feels the need would call a nephrologist.
Timely fluid therapy if given can recover him completely with in next 3-5 days.
If appropriate measures not taken, he may face kidney failure.
I suppose this is the early stage and can be managed easily by an eminent Physician.
I hope it helps you.
If you have any further query please ask me.
