Question: Hi
I am going abroad to uae for employment.
As chest xray to check tb is mandatory in uae, i had a medical test in XXXXXXX for my satisfaction.
The result is as below

bilateral lung fields appear clear
cardiac silhouette and cardiothoracic appear normal
Costophrenic angles appear on both sides
Domes of the diaphargm appear normal
Underlying soft tissue shadows appear normal

Impression
No features of pulmonary tuberculosis seen
No significant abnormalities detected in lung fields
No pleural effusion

Please tell me what is the result saying??
As per UAE standard i want to know is there any scar in the lung fields??
Is there any active and inactive tb found??

Brief Answer:
No need to worry.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
No need to worry for your xx ray findings.
Your chest x ray report is absolutely normal.
No evidence of active tubercular lesion like cavitation, consolidation, effusion etc.
So don't worry, you will pass your medical fitness as far as chest x ray is concerned.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
