Question: I just got a chest xray done report says inhomogeneous opacity seen in the left lower zone.wat does it mean is is serious

Inhomgenous opacity may mean anything starting from infection to cancer. Ideally any radiology report must be correlated clinically. Lower zone mean below 4th rib on X ray.
It would be better if you could tell your age, smoking habits.
Many a time it is beneficial to compare the present X ray with any previous xray of the past and seeing whether the opacity was present that time. If it was then whether has increased in size or regressed.
