What Does RVDD Measurement Of 3.5 Indicate?

Question: I have this normal echocardiogram but noticed a few things the doctor didnt bring up. I highlighted them. Im mostly worried about the RVDd measurement of 3.5 Is this any concern? Im 41 year old female Suffer from chest pain that radiates ( non-cardiac) to left arm and left jaw Chronic uveitis and ankylosing spondylitis Brain lesions

Brief Answer: No significant findings... Detailed Answer: Hello.Delighted to be able to help. Specifying the report: 1. Mitral regurgitation.It is a common finding in many Echocardiograms. 2. Valvular aortic stenosis.The problem is when the stenosis is "hemodynamically significant." In your case there is a small narrowing of the valve unimportant. 3.RVDD indicates the measurement of right ventricle at the end of diastole (ventricular dilatation) ventricle. There is a small increase in diameter (normal is up to 2.6 cm) without alteration in the function of the ventricle. These findings are not significant. However I will advice annual echocardiogram to monitor and control Aortic Stenosis and RVDD. Your treating doctor can decide about it. I Hope I have answered your query. Just wondering why this echo versus last echo is so different. Attached is the evho i had before this 8 months ago. Is there a mistake here?

Brief Answer: Echocardiograms. Detailed Answer: Hello.Delighted to be able to help. If you read the report,the last echocardiogram was performed by a different doctor who performed the first. The interpretation never is the same between two different doctors. The only point to consider is the increased RVDD (2.3 to 3.5 cm).It is not worrisome, but it is advisable to perform a routine echocardiogram in a year. I Hope I have answered your query.
