Brief Answer: Hi and welcome to HCM Detailed Answer: Thanks for the query. First, this is only slight elevation of ALP and it may not indicate anything. Usually high alp suggests bone or gallbaldder issues. In your case, beside ALP there is also calcium level elevation and this suggest bone etiology. It means that there is increased resorption of bones in your organism. causes of this can be: primary hyperparathyroidism or hyperactive parathyroid gland, Hyperactive thyroid gland, Excessive calcium or vitamin D intake or certain bone disorders. If you have any symptoms related to bone pain you should do bone scan. If not, you should check your PTH, TSH & free T4 levels to see is there hormonal disorder. Wish you good health. Feel free to ask. Regards
