Brief Answer:
Ultrasound findings may indicate PCOD(poly cystic ovarian disease).

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Ultrasound findings may indicate PCOD (poly cystic ovarian disease). Peripherally arranged follicles with echogenic stroma may indicate PCOD. However this should be corroborated with clinical findings and hormonal assay.

Period irregularity is a feature of PCOD.

It is generally a curable disease and most patient only need oral medicines. Surgical intervention is required only in few cases.
