What Do These CT Scan And Ultrasound Reports Of Right Side Indicate?

default
Posted on Wed, 9 Sep 2015
Question: a few months ago I went to the doctor for an uneasy feeling I was having right under my sternum, a little to the right. the doctor had me do a ct scan and everything seemed fine. He then did an ultrasound of my right side and this was the result:

normal gallbladder
poor visualization of pancreas
hyperechoic hepatic abnormalities likely to reflect hemangiomas. If further evaluation is necessary, MRI is recommended

after this, the doctor had me do a petscan of my lung, and that ended up being normal. But a few days after that I started feeling stabbing pain on the right side of my torso, right under the rib cage. This lasted for a day or two and has stopped for now. Right now I feel very subtle pain on the right side of my stomach. I'm wondering if I should take this any farther. The doctor said that everything is probably normal(this was a lung doctor), but he gave me the choice of seeing a liver doctor and doing an mri of my liver. any suggestions based on the finding and symptoms would be great, thanks!
