Brief Answer:
It is an antibiotic, but not the first choice to be used for UTI.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using HealthcareMagic.
I read your question carefully and I can understand your concern.

It can be the right medication if you have done a urine culture already and you are sensitive to it.

But if you have not done a urine culture then it may not the medicine I would recommend as first choice. But surely it is a good one if you cannot have access to other medicines at this moment/as soon as possible.

On the other side, if you are sexually active you should rule out sexually transmitted infections because the yellow green discharge can be a sign of it. If you have any of them, surpax can be a very good medicine adaptable to treat that, but it is important to first confirm it by labs.

Hope this is helpful.
