What Causes Yeast Like Smell In Nostril?

Question: Smell like yeast in one nostril.
I was taking a nasial spray for over
a year, but I stopped after I thought
this might cause it. I take Dulera and Atrovent and Spriva. I have asthma.

The altered sense of smell could be due to various reasons such as, clogged secretions, weakened olfactory nerves or allergic fungal sinusitis. A complete examination of the nose and the paranasal sinuses will aid in diagnosing the actual cause.

My suggestions to you are:
1. To continue with the momentasone nasal spray.
2. Try using saline nasal spray. Saline nasal spray is a wonderful natural medicine to clear the clogged secretions and reduce the smell of yeast. Use it as frequently as possible.
3. Do steam inhalation 2-3 times a day.
4. Consult your doctor for a complete evaluation.
