What Causes Whitish Red Spots On Penis Head?

default
Posted on Mon, 28 Jul 2014
Question: Hi my name is XXXX, i have never had sex, i have only received oral sex, mostly protected. 4 years ago in 2010, i received oral sex 3 times unprotected from the same person. After 2 years in 2012, i noticed i had a small white-ish red-ish spot jus below the head of my penis. Now i have so many white-ish red-ish spots all around just below the head of my penis, it is starting to spread onto the head of my penis. It does not itch, only sometimes. I took chlamydia tests, but the results said i was ok, i don't know what to do because i am embarrassed to go to the clinic.

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query and I have understood it.

Unprotected oral sex with an unknown person and with an unknown status is always a risky affair.

-What is the duration of the lesions?Have they persisted ever since they appeared or did they subside in between?

A clear digital picture (preferably 2-3 clear pictures) is what I require, to be able to guide you better.

Regards

Brief Answer:
Genital warts

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Thanks for the pictures. They seem to be genital warts OR condyloma acuminata. It is an STD.
I would suggest that seek an appointment with a dermatologist Or a sexual disease specialist.
Treatment options are topical podophyllotoxin application Or topical Imiquimod 5% cream.
They can also be vaporized with a CO2 Laser under local anesthesia.

Brief Answer:
They are normal

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

I think you are referring to the prominent hair follicles, which are normal because of the delicate skin in this region. They are normal and don't require any intervention
