Question: I just experienced a partial block in vision. It felt like I only had a vertical oval area of vision with blotches of yellow on the left vision area and black on the right side. Frightened me a bit.

My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.

We need to know certain parameters about you. What is your BP ? Has Diabetes been ruled out?
Your blood chemistry has been checked and lipid profile is OK.
If these parameters are normal,then you have to get your eyes checked to rule out any reason that can produce such transient visual loss. Routine Fundus picture will be very revealing and give us a lot of clues regarding underlying disease process.
