Brief Answer:
Hypertension evalaution and color doppler of carotid artery necessary

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. It appears to be pulsatile feeling due to possible vascular disease. As the turbulence is possibly increased in the blood vessels, slight pressure and throbbing feeling is being felt.
2. Most important is to check the blood pressure.
3. If its normal, doppler study of the carotid artery for carotid artery stenosis is necessary. Carotid artery narrowing can increase the turbulence in the blood, which can be felt as pulsatile.
4. You also need to reduce stress and anxiety. This affects blood pressure too.

As there is no hearing complaints, its possibly not related to ear.

Vascular disorder requires evaluation. If the blood pressure is normal, meet your doctor for tests.

Hope it helps.
