How Can Bumps On The Legs Be Treated?
Question: What causes these little bumps on the top of the legs? What can you do to get rid of them?
Brief Answer:
Folliculitis
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you.
I am Dr kakkar (Dermatologist and Venereologist). I have noted your concern and I have viewed the images.
They seem like folliculitis. It is a bacterial skin infection most commonly caused by staphylococcus aureus
I suggest you to take an oral antibiotic e.g either Amoxicillin or Cephalexin for a week. In addition I suggest you to apply a topical antibiotic e.g either Neosporin ointment or Mupirocin 2 % ointment, twice daily.
Regards
