The symptoms indicate inflammation of caruncle.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I am Dr Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.

I reviewed your history.
The symptoms of of swelling of the caruncle with tenderness indicate inflammation of the caruncle in the from of carunculitis.
I would prefer to treat conditions like this by the use of antibiotic eye drops and anti-inflammatory drugs.
I usually use antibiotic eye drops like Moxifloxacin eye drops and non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like Flurbiprofen eye drops 3-4 times per day.
The use of pain killers and analgesic drugs will provide symptomatic relief.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for prescription of drugs. There is no need to go for emergency room, you can stat the use of the eye drops and analgesic drugs and if there is no relief you can consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Hope this information is helpful to you.

Thank you
With regards
