What Causes Swelling And Sharp Pain Below The Left Eye?
Question: Yesterday I woke up with sharp pain above my left cheek but below my eye. Today it looks swollen and bruised.

The area is markedly red and swollen. Based on your description and the images you uploaded, Trigeminal neuralgia is associated with such sharp of sudden onset in the same region.
An insect bite and contact dermatitis leading to such inflammation is also possible.
However, it's only one episode and a diagnosis of TG can't be based on one isolated episode. I would advise NSAIDS like meloxicam along with antihistamines such as Cetirizine to treat it symptomatically.
If however, the pain episodes recur then a Neurologist must be consulted to advise medication like carbamazepine for adequate control.
