Question: Hello, I just washed my face and never placed anything near the eye and when I looked up there was a blood stain for some reason. I have no idea how it arrived but would like it to be removed very quickly and how can I do that?

Brief Answer:
Use refresh tears. treatment as per the underlying condition.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

As per your history, blood stain in the eye is subconjunctival hemorrhage. Causes for that are forceful eye rubbing, forceful sneezing or coughing, injury, infections, bleeding tendencies, on blood thinner medications like aspirin/warfarin/clopidogrel, raised blood pressure. So kindly follow up here with this detailed history.

But don't worry about that. It may go automatically within 4 to 5 days depends upon its size. You can use refresh eye drops 5 to 6 times a day. Treatment mainly depend upon underlying conditions. so I will suggest you follow up with a detailed history or any query.

Hope this clarifies your concerns.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

I did send you a message and it seems the question to the message today. I decided to see my doctor here in Australia. I thought this was a free service but I did the wrong thing by signing up to an account which I thought I only had to pay $20 for. I will give you $20.00 but I would like to cancel this account because if you are in XXXXXXX or somewhere else in the world and I don't think you can help at all and I can't afford to give you $20 each month as I am only on an Australia Pension. If need to cancel this account as I have asked because I know I will only be using you once and the once is this time only and then never again.

Brief Answer:
Kindly follow up with the detailed history.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I asked negative history in my previous answer to rule out possible conditions that can cause such blood stain in the eye. Kindly follow up with a detailed history for further treatment and management.

For other queries (apart from the medical queries), I'd request you to contact the customer care support for further assistance. I think this will clarify your concerns.

Hope I have answered your query.
