What Causes Spitting Of Blood Clot?

Question: I thought it was just a phlegm but when I spit it out it was blood clot.
I have recurring nosebleed. Went to ENT and he adviced me there is nothing wrong.
I am taking Advair and also finished prednisone treatment 3 days ago

Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
Anybody with blood in his spit would definitely get worried but in your case it is coming from your back side of throat due to nasal bleeds and not from your lungs and hence there is nothing to get worried.
Had it been from your lungs,you would have had bleeding while coughing and not spitting.
Just relax and don't worry.
