Thank you for writing on health care magic

Well, the symptoms of nose bleed along with red eyes fit in a different category of diseases which we need to look into...something like a vasculitis. But we need to be sure about it before diagnosing it.. I would like to ask you a few more queries before coming to a conclusion:

1. The redness in your eyes.. Is it painful as well?? Is it better now or still persisting??

2. The nose bleed ..is it spontaneous or is there a history of nose picking??

3. Do you have any associated sinusitis or hearing difficulty?

4. How do your joints feel in the mornings? Is it better or worse?

5. How is your sleep cycle on lyrica...You sleep well or is it still disturbed?Do you experience forgetfullness or irritability??

Do let me know these queries. Will try to see where your disease fits in

Eyes hurt, nose bleed spontaneous . Joints hurt worse in the morning and again in eve. Lyrica messes with my emotions and it will help the pain but not without side effects. I fall a lot lately

Good evening

Well, the sort of symptoms you are telling do fit in with some form of inflammatory arthritis. We need to sort it out for you which one.

Examination of the joints is a must to see for the swellings as it gives us a clue where we are heading. I will advise you some investigations which would help our diagnosis:

1. ESR
2 . CRP
3. CBC
4. Liver function tests
5. Urine routine

It could be some form of vasculitis causing arthritis or some other thing going on.

Secondly, you should avoid the falls as falls in this age can lead to fractures which can increase morbidity. If lyrica is causing this giddiness, you need to cut down on the dose or switch to other medication like Duloxetine or Amitryptilline for Fibromyalgia. But do get yourself evaluated by a neurologist as well to rule out any neurological cause of the falls

I feel you have a few issues which need to be addressed properly and moreoever with a combined consultation to get to the diagnosis. A Rheumatologist and a neurologist

Hope the information was useful

Do let me know for more queries. WOuld be happy to help out
