Brief Answer:
Considerations.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for the query.

It sounds like you may have ruptured a small blood vessel in your eye. This can happen sometimes from sneezing, coughing or even straining.

Usually, this is a self-limited issue - meaning that it will slowly resolve over time without intervention. This will likely take about 2 weeks.

If you develop any vision changes, headaches, dizziness or nausea then you should go to your doctor as soon as possible for a thorough evaluation.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Sincerely,

Dr Galamaga
