    What causes red discoloration in the eyes?

Question: My right eye is completely blood shot. Does not seem to affect vision nor does it hurt but it's scary.

It sounds like you may have ruptured a small blood vessel in your eye. This can happen sometimes from sneezing, coughing or even straining.
