Brief Answer:
What were the exact values of the blood pressure and your heart rate?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms of pounding heart and neck tightness that you have reported.

These are not totally recognized as side effects of propafenone. This might have been an episode of A-fib. I'd suggest that you report the blood pressure measures and heart rate to me. If these symptoms become more frequent, I will suggest that you should get an EKG to evaluate the heart rhythm.

In all, report your values and seek to get an EKG if these symptoms persist. An A-fib episode might have been at the origin.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
Kind regards
