Question: Hi. I moved to Australia recently and went off my birth control but since then I have been getting my period every second week for the last 6-7 weeks. My diet has changed but I haven't been doing more exercise.. I'm curious to know what could be causing this.

Brief Answer:
It could be due to hormonal changes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
It could be due to mild hormonal changes caused by withdrawal of birth control pills.
It will settle down after 3-4 cycles.
Diet changes and place change may also cause menstrual irregularities through hormonal changes.
Hope found useful, feel free to ask more information.
Good luck.
