What Causes Increased Heart Rate And Nausea After Taking Bactrim?
Question: i just took one Bactrim for E coli UTI and i feel terrible, nauseated, increased heart rate

Bactrim may cause (not very often though) arrhythmias. If the arrhythmia is severe enough, it may cause nausea, faintness, cold sweating and other symptoms. Since you're having a UTI you should check your temperature. If you've developed fever then the symptoms might be related to it. Fever increases the heart rate and may make the patient feel unwell. Febrile urinary tract infections, in particular, may cause nausea and vomiting sometimes.
So in conclusion, you should check your temperature and contact your doctor for an ECG (to make sure it's not an arrhythmia) and perhaps alternative treatment for the UTI.
