Brief Answer:
Need change of antibiotics & long duration therapy

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. Smelly urine usually indicates urinary tract infection.

2. Even after completing the course, if still smelly urine, possible resistant to antibiotics treatment.

3. You need to
A. Change antibiotics and take treatment for longer duration - Like levofloxacin or nitrofurantoin. Maybe two weeks therapy. Culture and sensitivity tests of urine sample would be more helpful in deciding specific antibiotics.
B. Take more water. At least five liters would be helpful. Dilution and more urine will remove the bacteria.
C. Maintain a clean toilet seat and surrounding area. Washing around urethra/ urine site after urination will reduce risk of reinfection.

You need to get prescription from your doctor for medications and tests.

Any chronic disease like diabetes needs to be controlled for effective treatment.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
