Question: Hi. I am taking of drugs for heart problems. I have adjusted to most of the side effects but I am having facial sweating which is a problem

Valium 5 mg. Lexapro 20. Lantanoprost .005% aspirin 81mg. Lomotil. Adderall 20 mg. Atorvastatin 10 mg. Isosorbide mononitrate extended release 30 mg. Losartan 50 mg. Nitrostat .4. Tramadol 50 mg every 6 hrs. Effient 10 mg. Centrum. Ranolazine extended release 2 x day. Glucosamine-Chondroitin 250 mg2 tabs. Coenzymr Q 10 100 mg. I do not take adderal or Tramadol or Valium every day

Hi back,

After reviewing the list of medication your problem may be a side effect of Adderall use. However I would like to make the following suggestions to help you deal with excessive facial sweating:
- Drink plenty of fresh fruits
- Use ice cube all over your face 2-3 times a day
- Use cucumber mask on your face
- Apply talcum powder
- Avoid excessive make up

If this measures doesn't help, discuss with your doctor about replacing Adderall.

I rarely wear make up, I have gotten to taking a wet cloth with ice cubes in a plastic bag when I go out, and since the Adderal is not "necessary", I'll stop it for a week. However, I have not been drinking fruit juices as I am on a "motified" low carb diet, but I can make room. Thank you for your advice. For your info, had 5 bypasses 14 yrs ago, a double stent 2 yrs ago and am having another XXXXXXX in 2 weeks. Won't discuss bypass, that was the worst thing I have ever gone through. Again, thanks for advice. Will let you know.

Hi back,

If the Adderall isn't "necessary" you may stop taking it. Moreover continue with fresh fruits juice and cucumber mask.

You shouldn't worry bypass is done only onetime and coronary stenting is the only thing that can be done in your case (if needed).
