Brief Answer:
Fainting attack

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
A fainting attack with diminished vision has to be investigated. The reasons for the two can be independent or as a initial diagnosis we try to have one diagnosis for to explain the situation.
Diminished vision can be a local eye problem or if combined with fainting then has to envolve nervous system.
Fainting attacks can be due to cardiac reasons or may also be due to drug interactions.
This detail has to be explsined to you to plan how to go about investigation stategy.
I feel first you talk to cardiologist and seek guidence. Then have a eye checkup. This willguide us if a neurologist is to be contacted.
I feel i have explained the strategy comprehensively and any further query in this regard please do get back to me.
