What Causes Discomfort And Pressure During Urination?

default
Posted on Wed, 19 Aug 2015
Question: About two weeks after I lost my virginity, I started feeling this odd pressure building up towards the end of when I pee. My pee doesn't burn or smell at all, which is why I'm not sure if it's a UTI or not. I've been taking cranberry tablets and drinking lots of water, but it doesn't seem to be helping. It's just extremely uncomfortable, and I've noticed I've been peeing more than usual throughout the day.

Brief Answer:
it might be UTI

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic.I understand your concern.
In my opinion the increased frequency of urination and pressure while passing urine might go in favour of UTI.
UTI is routinely seen in case of first time of intercourse.
It is good to wash the genitals and urination before and after the intercourse by both the partners to prevent UTI.
I suggest you to consult doctor and get urine examination done to rule out UTI.
If UTI is there you might need a course of antibiotics.
Continue taking adequate fluids upto 3 litres
,cranberry juice and coconut water to prevent UTI.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss further.
