What Causes Delayed Menstruation Despite Taking Postinor 2?
Question: I had unprotected sex during or before what would be my normal ovulation period and i took postinor 2 the next morning the correct way. I had unprotected sex again a week before my next period and now im pregnant. When is it likely that this happened and how?

I read your question and i understand your concern. Contraceptive failure is still a possibility with postinor and it varies from 2 to 8 %. Either it was a suspected failure of the pill or result of unprotected coitus you had a week before expected menses. Later is less likely as that time is ovulation free.
Also the test may be false positive and needs to be confirmed by 40th day onwards sonogram.

Could it be a result of delayed ovulation caused by the pill? That would result in a delay of the menses causing pregnancy? I had a pinkish spotting 5 days after the second intercourse and I took a test on the day my period was due and it was negative. Three days later, two different tests showed clear positive. I am also having signs such as sore breasts nipples, headaches constantly, etc.

Yes that is one of the theory of possibility as well,pills may delay ovulation by delaying the rupture of follicles. So yes that could be a possibility. That all suspicion will be confirmed once the age of conception is evaluated correctly by an ultrasound after 7 weeks of LMP to 8 weeks. Then we will know better which coitus led to it.
