What Causes Delayed Menstruation After Taking An I-pill?

Question: Last month that is on 16 XXXXXXX I had unprotected sex but within 24 hours I took an I pill. Then after that I had intercourse but with protection. Then I got my periods on 22 XXXXXXX ( prepone by 12-13 days) now I should be having my next periods date due on 22 July but its missing since 5 days. So what's happening? is it protection failure or I pill failure or it just got delayed. If I have to take any pregnancy test then tell me when to take. Please please tell me.
