Brief Answer:
Blood pressure does not mean that fiber foods cannot be taken

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have carefully gone through your query and understand your concerns. Although you have taken antibiotics for your gum surgery, I doubt if it could have played any role in the constipation. Most often constipation occurs due to lack of adequate fibers in the diet. Fiber is indigestible and contributes to the bulk of stool. I doubt if the cause of not taking diber is justified. However, in case you feel that you need any other way, Miralax (Polyethelene glycol) is a good alternative and can be taken safely for longer periods of time without any worries. The onset of action might have been long but do not worry, the effect is likely to be sustained.

The dietrary intake of green leafy vegetables regularly with diet should be helpful. Alongside be sure to walk daily in the morning. It is very important for bowel movements.
