What Causes Brown Spotting And Cramps After Intercourse?

default
Posted on Fri, 12 Dec 2014
Question: Hi, I have never experience this before- I am 36 and always get my period the 28-31st of every month. My bf and I had unprotected sex on the 3rd of Nov, the last day of my period and he came inside me for the first time ever. On the 15th of Nov I suddenly started bleeding during the day- which I never do, I always wake up to my period- and it was mostly brown in color and wasn't solid blood, but 'speckled' if that makes sense. It was enough that I had to wear a liner for 2 days..and I have slight cramping. Could I be pregnant??

Brief Answer:
Pregnancy cannot be detected at this stage

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing..
I understand your concern..

It is not possible to detect pregnancy at this stage..It is unlikely for you become pregnant.. Pregnancy can occur only when intercourse occurs in and around the ovulation time which is around 13 or 14th november..

This bleeding is most likely to be an ovulation bleed which occurs in some women in and around the date of ovulation.. This will be just spotting which will last only for a day or two.. So if you dont have any other symptoms or problems you neednot worry..

Hope i have answered your query..Feel free to ask any doubts.. Good day..
